Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for leading, coordinating, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment, facilities, and systems operate efficiently and safely. This role serves as a technical expert within the team, providing troubleshooting support, training to junior technicians, and recommending improvements to enhance reliability and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform skilled maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and fire safety systems.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Respond to emergency repair requests promptly.
- Assist in facility upgrades and improvement projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services.
- Estimate costs and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Willingness to work shifts / on-call duty, as required.
