Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on industrial steel equipment.

• Inspect equipment to identify faults, breakdowns and potential mechanical issues.

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and carry out necessary repairs.

• Monitor equipment performance and report recurring faults to the supervisor.

• Assist with equipment servicing, component replacement and maintenance activities.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

• Relevant hands-on experience in maintenance of industrial equipment is required.

• Experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment repair is preferred.

• Able to work independently and carry out physical maintenance tasks.
