- Performs corrective and routine calibration activities for instrument such as temperature, pressure, level, flow, RH, analyzers and others (e.g. Sensors, indicators, recorders, transmitters, transducers, control valves, pneumatic system, annunciators, pH and conductivity meters).
- Execute calibration and corrective work orders by adhering to maintenance SOPs and Work Instructions (WI).
- Apply LOTO for LV electrical appliances to support maintenance jobs on rotating equipment according to job plans or Work Instruction (WI).
- Carryout and coordinate annual or routine utilities shutdown, startup, swing over and instrument calibration, control valve servicing and inspection.
- Promptly identify, troubleshoot and provide diagnostic of instrument failure to determine the root cause and carryout immediate corrective actions with minimum supervision.
- Ensure that all work orders are completed and updated timely in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Participate and contribute to plant and equipment improvement efforts to improve reliability and availability of equipment from an instrument subject matter perspective.
- Maintain high level of EHS, GMP compliance and good housekeeping throughout maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance work.
- Provide feedback on maintenance issues and trends associated with failures and root causes.
- Any other appointments assigned by Section Head.
Requirements:
- Diploma / ITC / NITEC / NTC in Electrical Engineering, Instrument & Controls Engineering or Mechatronics with 5 years of experience in calibration or engineering field with industrial experience.
- Work experience inPharmaceutical or Petrochemical industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with process equipment operation such as filter dryer, centrifuge, single cone dryer, glasslined reactors, temperature control unit etc. will be key consideration.
- EMA Electrician qualification will be an added advantage.
- Always work towards Right First Time mindset to prevent rework or property damage that can jeopardize project cost or schedule.
- Ability to prepare report or Excel tables in MS Office and complete workorders in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Communicates in a clear and unambiguous manner
