Job Description: Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance tasks and contract

requirements across ZRG's projects, with a primary focus on the operational safety and

serviceability of equipment and infrastructure at our client's Aerial Adventure Park. The role

ensures smooth and profitable operations by upholding the highest standards of safety and

guest experience.

This position requires a resourceful , service-oriented individual who can leverage operational

and tactical knowledge to execute maintenance and provide guidance to operational crews.

Skills and Experience

. Technical Expertise: Strong background in maintenance, specifically with a

dominant focus on mechanical systems (approximately 70% mechanical, 30%

electrical/electronic).

. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the Attractions industry or a similar

high-safety environment is highly desirable.

. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities to meet customer needs and

troubleshoot issues.

. Communication: Excellent communication skills , able to work unassisted, and

effectively mentor and guide junior staff.

. Safety Focus: Demonstrated commitment to working according to all relevant

policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation.

Core Responsibilities

Maintenance & Safety Compliance

. Performing daily hands-on safety, mechanical, electrical, and quality assurance

checks on all attraction equipment and infrastructure to the highest standards of

safety and according to local and international regulations.

. Performing, inspecting, and executing repairs, both major and minor, across all

elements of the Aerial Adventure Park, including: continuous belay systems,

platforms, harnesses, tethers, safety nets, freefall jump devices, and PPE.

. Troubleshooting and resolving on-the-spot problems and repair requirements as per

manufacturer's recommendations.

. Assisting the Compliance Manager with staying on top of inspection frequencies and

conformity to industry standards.

. Assisting with overall attraction maintenance, rebuilds, or enhancement works as

required.

. Responsible for all maintenance related tasks for all projects.

Operational Support & Leadership

. Responsible for the day-to-day running of ZRG and/or any Clients which ZRG has

secured for operational and maintenance management services.

. Report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

. Supervise and mentor junior, inexperienced team members by educating and

enforcing policies and procedures.

. Provide on-the-job training to subordinates.

. Manage the response to operational issues and guest interests.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

. Possess a strong service mindset and guide teams to anticipate customer needs.

. Enforce customer service procedures and provide feedback on the resolution of

service issues.

. Review feedback from internal stakeholders to consolidate new ideas and determine

areas for operational improvement.

Key Requirements

. Schedule: Needs to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and

public holidays, predominantly for scheduled maintenance outside of guest operating

hours.

. Technical Knowledge: Expected to have an understanding of the utilities and basic

mechanical and electrical maintenance requirements of all equipment
