The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production machinery and facility equipment in a plastic processing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians (electrical and mechanical).
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults in extrusion, shredding, crushing, and related equipment.
- Modify and improve machine electrical circuits, control panels, and mechanical systems to enhance productivity and reliability.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of machinery and factory electrical systems.
- Ensure proper documentation and updating of electrical drawings, maintenance records, and SOPs.
- Drive machine uptime, reduce breakdowns, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Support process improvement initiatives including automation, data logging, and efficiency upgrades.
- Ensure all maintenance works comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and external vendors for maintenance-related activities.
- Assist in sourcing and procurement of spare parts and maintenance materials.
- Train and guide technicians to build internal maintenance capabilities.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are properly managed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
