Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of stabilized electro-optical payload systems and associated peripheral equipment. This includes troubleshooting, repair, calibration, logistics coordination, and supporting the Service Delivery Manager in team supervision to ensure operational readiness and compliance with customer and quality standards.
Perform comprehensive maintenance and repair of stabilized electro-optical payloads and peripheral equipment, including fault diagnosis, component-level troubleshooting, disassembly/assembly per OEM specifications, firmware/software installation, system configuration, calibration, and functional verification.
Lead and manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes for components requiring OEM repair, including documentation, packaging, and status tracking.
Plan, monitor, and control maintenance workflows, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, job tracking, and service reporting.
Maintain and optimize spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
Oversee calibration compliance for tools and test equipment coordinate calibration activities to meet ISO and OEM standards.
Provide on-site technical support at customer facilities for investigations and repairs, adhering to safety and security protocols.
Coordinate logistics operations for equipment collection and delivery between customer, OEM, and internal facilities.
Prepare and issue quotations for maintenance services and generate RFQs for vendor procurement.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with diagnostic and test equipment to maintain operational readiness
Assist the Service Delivery Manager in supervising and allocating tasks within the service engineering team, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Occasional on-site work at naval bases or shipyards, requiring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
Secure handling of defense equipment and adherence to access control protocols.
