Job Description

Job Responsibilities
Primary tasks:

.Assist in planning and coordinating preventive maintenance, IMTE / Calibration of the chemical manufacturing equipment.

.Assist in planning and coordinating routine & ad-hoc preventive maintenance work of the building and utility facilities

.Perform hands-on maintenance work and simple electrical works, where applicable

.Assist in new equipment and building facility installation feasibility studies and planning work thereof

.Liaise with and supervise contractors to arrange for maintenance / repair works.

.Prepare approval document preparation, equipment training instruction, and installation applications to government agencies, and other internal documents

.Assist in inventory management of equipment parts, quotation acquisition, price negotiation, and ordering

.Assist in Technical Department task in carrying on Company's EHS related activities

Job Requirement:

.Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in related field or

.Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in related field. Added advantage for experience in chemical company.

.Having a LEW is an added advantage. Minimally must have basic understanding of electrical systems and/or electrical instruments.

.Understand Risk Assessment and FMEA

.Able to use auto-CAD is an added advantage

.Have knowledge in Environment, Health and Safety issues. Knowledge in ISO14001 and 45001 as well as 9001

.Good spoken and written skills in English

.Minimally able to use Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint

Job Conditions:

.Assigned to Technical Department which is responsible for company's maintenance activities and EHS

.Work at office on working days. Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.

.Work outside office hours when required.

.Permanent Position (Probation period: Minimum 3 months)

.Uniform provided
