Job Description

Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems and appliances within the limits of the electrical code or under the supervision of a journeyman building engineer.
Provide technical expertise and competence in areas such as painting, general maintenance, and repairs of mechanical equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Assist the team with work orders and emergencies by working hands-on.
Perform routine janitorial duties, replace HVAC filters, light bulbs, and ballasts.
Respond quickly to unscheduled emergency maintenance tasks during and after scheduled work hours.
Manage the Department Facilities Maintenance System.
Compose and comprehend basic correspondence with customers, coworkers, and managers.
Accurately record and report daily work duties in a clear and complete manner, including the submission of completed work orders at the end of every shift.
Ensures compliance with environmental and safety procedures and requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
