MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (Jalan Boon Lay)

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company. They are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and carry out corrective maintenance to minimise production downtime
• Lead and supervise technicians in preventive maintenance, repair and overhaul of plant machinery
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for safe, reliable plant operations
• Manage spare parts inventory so critical components are always available
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and service providers
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field
• 2 to 3 years experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience in automation systems and industrial equipment troubleshooting
• Knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Steel manufacturing experience is an added advantage
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team
• Able to perform under pressure and respond to issues promptly
• Willing to work 5.5 days per week and overtime when required
