Overview:
This role is responsible for developing maintenance excellence, ensuring production equipment reliability, and providing day-to-day technical support for production operations.
Job Description:
- Provide technical expertise to support the department in maintaining and improving equipment uptime and reliability.
- Develop maintenance plans and lead initiatives to achieve factory equipment reliability targets.
- Ensure maintenance systems and standard operating procedures are strictly followed by all team members.
- Oversee and ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of major capital investment projects in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) capital expenditure budget.
- Own and manage maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Maintain an organized inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables to support uninterrupted maintenance operations.
- Monitor and control repair and maintenance costs, ensuring alignment with budget targets.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automation environment.
- Experience in TPM implementation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is an added advantage.
- Strong background in Equipment and Maintenance Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations.
