Position Summary
- Provide Corrective Maintenance of STEURS deployed System (card access/CCTV, intercom, system….)
- Knowledge in Security /Server System / Network equipment.
- Provide inspection, rectification works and maintain system performance.
- Executes the A&A works with engineer and ensure smooth operation of the system
- Attend on-site 24 hours emergency service
Key Responsibilities
- Support and assist team leader in meeting and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure and work with the technicians in ensuring the PM work as per schedule of the system on site is carried out on time
- Responsible for the system functionalities and ensure in working condition at all times.
- Executes/clears the CM of issue arises from time to time.
- Provide Support to Engineer on IT related work on site on Server, Network and Workstation.
- Monitor of spare parts availability as well as EOL/EOS of equipment
- To perform standby duty after office hours as and when required
- Attend to adhoc call during and after office hours.
- Ensure periodical backup of database to be carried out.
- Good conduct and work closely with customers and ensure service deliverable is meet.
- Record and file or service and administrative work.
- Response to customers promptly when activated
Scope of Works
- Responsible for the system functionalities and ensure in working condition at all times.
- Conduct physical and visual checks on system, functional tests on various security devices and ensure it meet require performance.
- Conduct functional checks on system (server/workstation/networks) and provide patches and updates if necessary.
- License updates of the application software
- Work as team to complete and carry out service works PM/CM work schedule.
- Submit service report, clearly stating the type of repair/work carried out/completed including time of receiving service request and time of arriving at site if under calls.
- Check on contractor's work quality.
- Keep track of the equipment obsolete
- Monitor on site licenses expiry and updates superior if renewal requires.
- To supervise and co-ordinate with sub-contractors and customer on all site matters.
- Monitor and provide adequate and continuous flow of spare parts availability to support and meet downtime of system.
- To updates and ensure adequate spares and tools for necessary service work.
- Provide 24 hours emergency support on site when activated.
- If the need arises, you may be assigned any other duties within the same department from time to time.
Requirements
NITEC/ Diploma Holder in Electronic Engineering discipline
Minimum 2 years of working experience in maintenance industry, those with project execution experience can be considered.
Possess good analytical skills and ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
Preferably, in Security/IT industry, those with other engineering experience can be considered.
