Maintenance Engineer (Electro-Optical System)

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to be responsible for the maintenance of electro-optical system and peripheral equipment.

Responsibilities:

. Handle maintenance and repair of electro-optical payloads and peripheral equipments.

. Maintain operational readiness through troubleshooting and resolving issues with diagnostic and test
equipment.

. Manage spare parts inventory to ensure accurate stock level and timely replenishment.

. Handle Return Material Authorization processes for components requiring OEM repair,including
documentation, packaging, and status tracking.

. Ensure adherence to calibration compliance for tools and test equipment, and coordinate calibration activities
to meet ISO and OEM standards.

. Render on-site technical support at customer facilities for investigations and repairs.

. Support the Service Delivery Manager in supervising and allocating tasks within the team.

. Undertake occasional on-site work at naval bases or shipyards.

. Ensure the secure handling of defense equipment in compliance with established access control protocols.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering
• Hands-on technical skills with precision assembly / disassembly capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Shipyard safety certification (e.g. AWSHS) for work at naval bases preferred
• Prior experience with electro-optical systems or gimbal assemblies preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 calibration and quality assurance practices preferred
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license for local logistics support preferred
