Job Summary

Lead mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment and automation lines while managing facilities and a team of technicians to drive cost-saving improvements and ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment and automation lines to ensure optimal operation
Manage building and facility maintenance to support production needs and safety standards
Implement modifications and improvements focused on cost-saving and operational efficiency
Lead and coordinate a team of technicians in maintaining production equipment and tooling
Schedule and oversee contractor work to meet specifications and deadlines
Set up tooling on vertical punch presses to support production requirements
Maintain and account for workshop tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the maintenance area
Conduct activities related to cost effectiveness, waste reduction, lean processes, and site risk assessments as assigned by management

Required competencies and certifications

Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
3-5 years of experience in a production environment performing equipment maintenance and team leadership
Ability to work independently with initiative
Willingness to support overtime and weekend work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively as a team player
