Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repair of a variety of heavy-duty machinery and equipment
- Inspect, service, and repair a range of heavy-duty equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and MEWPs
- Diagnose and fix mechanical issues on-site or at the yard
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime
- Maintain accurate service records and job logs
- Work hand-in-hand with the field team to coordinate servicing schedules and urgent repairs
- Provide technical guidance to operators on equipment handling and basic troubleshooting
- Support commissioning of new equipment when required
- Handle other ad-hoc duties assigned by the company due to operational needs
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in heavy equipment maintenance
- Experience with mobile cranes (Link-Belt, Tadano, Kato, Sany, XCMG, Zoomlion) is preferred
- Mechanical or electrical background is a plus
- Comfortable in both planned maintenance and fast-paced, reactive environments
- High attention to detail and strong time management
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Qualifications:
- NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Valid Class 3 driving license Class 4 or 5 is an advantage
- Able to work interpedently and as part of a team
