- Responsible for line equipment sustenance to support production output, scraps, and quality.
- Maintain and upkeep production equipment to achieve minimum downtime, high operating efficiency, and productivity.
- Include equipment repair and troubleshooting, set-up, buy-off, type conversion, fine-tuning and optimization, modification and enhancement, equipment and tools calibration, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintaining equipment log.
- Undertake medium complex PM tasks with some guidance.
- Provide proper handover and shift pass down.
- Perform PM and tool calibrations as per planned and properly updated.
- Perform type conversion including equipment fine-tuning and buy-off before releasing it to production.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of spare parts.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Material / Electrical / Electronic / Chemical Engineering
- Experience working in a high-volume and high product mix manufacturing environment preferably in semi-conductor Assembly manufacturing.
- Dynamic, resourceful, self-motivated and have strong communication/interpersonal skills.
- Ability to set priority and plan/organize the tasks.
- Basic knowledge of SPC and MSA preferred.
- Willing to work 12-hour shifts as per schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
