About the Role

We are looking for a Senior M365 Solution Engineer to join a large Financial Institution's regional Collaboration & Productivity team. The role will focus on supporting the transition of enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms from on-premises environments to Microsoft 365 cloud solutions across the region.

This is a solution engineering and migration-focused role, requiring strong hands-on M365 expertise, solution thinking and the ability to operate confidently within a large and complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support regional planning and readiness for M365 cloud migration and adoption.
• Provide solution engineering expertise across the broader M365 ecosystem.
• Work across platforms including Microsoft Teams, Voice, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange/Exchange Online.
• Assess existing environments, dependencies and prerequisites to support migration planning.
• Work closely with global engineering and product teams to coordinate regional deployments and migrations.
• Support migration planning across different products and business areas.
• Identify technical dependencies, risks and potential issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders, global product teams and business users throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Support regulatory, audit and governance requirements associated with enterprise technology migrations.
• Contribute to technical discussions, solution planning and implementation readiness.
• Provide technical guidance and act as a regional point of contact for M365-related initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall technology experience, with strong hands-on M365 experience.
• Demonstrable recent and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
• Broad M365 knowledge rather than deep expertise in only one product.
• Strong experience across several of the following:Microsoft TeamsVoiceSharePointOneDriveExchange / Exchange Online
• Strong solution engineering / technical design experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale cloud migration, M365 adoption or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of technical dependencies, migration prerequisites and enterprise environments.
• Experience working within a Financial Institution or other highly regulated environment is preferred.
• Candidates from System Integrators / Technology Services organisations will also be considered where they have delivered solutions for Financial Services clients.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with global engineering teams and regional stakeholders.
• Able to operate independently and take ownership within a large and complex technology environment.

Desirable

• Experience with M365 Copilot, AI or agentic AI capabilities.
• Experience with large-scale on-premise to cloud migrations.
• Exposure to regulatory, audit and governance requirements within Financial Services.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not essential.
