M365 Architect

About the Role

We're supporting a global financial organisation in hiring an experienced M365 Architect / Senior Engineer to drive key collaboration and compliance initiatives across multiple regions. This position will focus on designing, testing, and implementing secure, large-scale Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring full compliance with regional regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cross location M365 solutions to enable secure collaboration between global entities.
• Define and configure Information Barriers, Retention Policies, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) frameworks to meet governance and compliance standards.
• Support SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive integration across multiple geographic regions.
• Develop PowerShell automations for mailbox migrations, provisioning, and large-scale M365 rollouts.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams across Asia, the US, and Europe to deliver end-to-end M365 architecture solutions.
• Produce documentation, testing plans, and implementation guides for ongoing M365 initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in M365 architecture, engineering, or enterprise deployments.
• Strong knowledge of cross country design, multi-geo configurations, and compliance policies within M365.
• Expertise in Information Barriers, Retention Policies, and DLP.
• Scripting experience using PowerShell for automation and system provisioning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
