Job Description

The developer role will support the development and sustainment of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform digital products aligned with operational and training objectives. The role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable solutions and improving existing systems to support mission-critical workflows. You will work closely with the CTO, Power Platform Centre of Excellence (PPCoE), and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions in collaboration with developers, business process owners, CTO, and PPCoE
  • Build and enhance applications, workflows, and reports using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related tools
  • Contribute to solution design, including data structures, security controls, system integration, and performance considerations
  • Review existing applications and workflows to identify opportunities for consolidation, standardisation, and improved maintainability
  • Facilitate requirement workshops and translate business needs into user stories and high-level solution designs
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams, specialists, and Microsoft support

Key Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience delivering Microsoft 365 and/or Power Platform solutions
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams within regulated environments
  • Exposure to defence, aviation, or government digital ecosystems is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse fundamentals
  • Understanding of solution architecture concepts, including data, security, integration, and performance
  • Experience in integrating Internet-of-Things (IoT) systems
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Structured problem-solving and issue resolution
  • Clear communication in requirement gathering and solution discussions

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with a Power Platform Centre of Excellence (PPCoE) setup
  • Familiarity with Microsoft support processes and escalation handling
