Job Description & Requirements
- Lead and manage technical teams handling plant maintenance, equipment servicing, and building maintenance works.
- Oversee 24/7 breakdown support operations and ensure rapid response for critical plant issues.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise maintenance schedules, shutdown works, and project deployments.
- Conduct site inspections, identify technical problems and provide effective engineering solutions.
- Manage operations on Jurong Island, including manpower planning, safety coordination, and permit processes.
- Ensure proper servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment and machinery.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams for mechanical, electrical, and civil-related issues.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare work reports, quotations, maintenance records and project updates.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, especially for Jurong Island sites.
- Guide, mentor and train technicians and supervisors.
- Handle any ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Able to work well with others as a competent team and team leader.
- Able to work flexible hours, night shift and Sundays if required
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical & Communication Engineering. Or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical & Communication Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge on the tools, equipment, and materials common to the Mechanical & Electrical trade.
- Knowledge on hydraulic & pneumatic system & control.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards and regulations.
- Skill in the installation,repair and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components.
- Skill in both verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independent and self-responsible manner.
- Able to work on an 8 hours rotating shifts.
- Flexible to work on Sundays & Public Holidays.
- Class 3 License Required
