M&E Supervisor

The incumbent is responsible to supervise the operation of the assigned Engineering section. Repair and maintain all M&E equipment, engineering services and installations and building facilities in the Hotel. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

Job Responsibilites

. Review the irregularity observed during the shift and discuss the corrective actions/preventive actions with the Duty Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer.

. Conduct shift briefing on maintenance, control processes and procedures stipulated in the Engineering Plan Manual.

. Review critical daily and weekly events of the Guestrooms and F&B Banquets to ensure that engineering support actions are taken or being taken as planned.

. Inspect the works carried out by contractors and ensure that they work in accordance with the procedure stipulated in the service contract agreement.

. Conducting the routine checking on all M&E Services in accordance with the Engineering Maintenance Programme.

. Monitor and ensure that all maintenance programme activities that are carried out as planned.

. Prepared the Engineering Check-lists and work request forms for shift staff to conduct routine servicing & maintenance on all M&E Service in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan.

. Log down all activities including service breakdowns that occurs during his shift and submit report to the Duty Engineer/Assistant Chief Engineer.

. Ensure that all engineering areas are kept clean and tidy.

. Work in close co-ordination with all other departments.

. Ensure that all staffs comply with the rules, regulations and policies established by the department and the Hotel.

. Ensure that fire and safety procedures are carried out at all times.

. Be fully familiar with the Emergency Procedures as established by the Hotel.

. Perform other duties as directed.

Job Requirements

. ITC, NTC-3 certificate or GCE O / N level graduated

. At least 1 year of relevant working experience in hotels

Able to perform shift work
