Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Handle the full spectrum of Quantity Surveying (QS) duties, including material take-off, cost estimation, variation orders, and contract administration.
- Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Identify potential contractual and commercial risks during the tender stage and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assist the project team in preparing cost estimates for additional and variation works.
- Lead quantity measurement and take-off processes, and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ).
- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, evaluate bids, and develop competitive tender pricing.
- Prepare quotations and tender submissions, including quantity take-off for mechanical works.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, cost control, and overall project costing.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Evaluate, verify, and certify subcontractors progress claims and payments.
- Support contract administration activities, including variation claims, final accounts, and project cost reporting.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Manager or Director.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in M&E QS
