Job Summary
Perform comprehensive quantity surveying tasks to support project cost management and contract administration, contributing to effective project delivery and financial control.
Responsibilities
- Lead pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities to ensure accurate cost estimation and contract compliance
- Analyze and quantify materials and resources required for projects to support budgeting and procurement decisions
- Manage cost control processes to monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Evaluate and certify contractors claims to ensure accuracy and adherence to contract terms
- Prepare detailed monthly progress claims and cost analysis reports to inform project stakeholders and support financial tracking
- Coordinate and oversee all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works related to quantity surveying to ensure integrated project cost management
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to prepare reports and manage project documentation
