M&E PROJECT MANAGER

1. Project Planning & Management

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all Mechanical & Electrical works (HVAC/ACMV, plumbing, fire protection, electrical systems, ELV, etc.)

• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts

• Develop work schedules and ensure timely project delivery

• Coordinate with main contractor, consultants, architects, and subcontractors

2. Design Review & Technical Coordination

• Review and verify M&E design drawings

• Identify design clashes and coordinate with other trades (architectural & structural)

• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and industry standards

• Propose technical solutions to site issues

3. Site Supervision & Execution

• Monitor daily site activities and progress of M&E works

• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and method statements

• Supervise subcontractors and site teams

• Ensure quality workmanship

4. Cost & Budget Control

• Monitor project budgets and cost control

• Review variation orders and claims

• Assist in procurement of materials and subcontractors

• Ensure efficient use of resources (manpower, materials, equipment)

5. Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure M&E works meet project specifications and quality standards

• Conduct inspections and coordinate testing

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements

• Manage documentation (inspection reports, approvals, as-built drawings)

6. Testing & Commissioning

• Oversee testing and commissioning of all M&E systems

• Coordinate with authorities for inspections and approvals

• Ensure systems are fully operational before handover

7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures

• Conduct safety meetings and enforce site safety practices

• Identify and mitigate risks

8. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports

• Attend coordination and progress meetings

• Report project status to senior management
