Job Description:
- Lead and manage the M&E team to ensure delivery of all M&E systems
- Coordinate with other departments (C&S, Architectural) to integrate M&E systems into the overall building design and construction
- Ensure that all M&E installations adhere to safety standards, building codes, and client specifications
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control on site, ensuring that installations and systems comply with approved designs.
- Ensure all M&E-related documentation, such as test reports, method statements, and compliance certificates, are accurate and up to date
- Act as the primary contact for M&E-related queries from clients, consultants, contractors and project team
- Provide regular updates on M&E project progress, issues, and resolutions to senior management and clients
- Attend project metings and ensure that M&E progress is accurately communicated to all stakeholders
- Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues related to the M&E scope and implement strategies to address them proactively.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of all M&E systems, ensuring they operate as designed and are fully functional.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, recognized by the PE Board
- Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in similar capacity in building construction industry
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical trades
- Good knowledge of Local Code/Regulation pertaining to M&E services and building construction
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex issues quickly and propose counter measures to settle the issues
- Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage particular tasks put in his charge
- Good leadership and communication skills, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
