M&E Project Engineer ( Data Centre / ACMV Project )
- Working Location: Depend on project
- Office Location: Ang Mo Kio
- Working Days: 5.5days alternate Saturday
- Working time: Mon- Friday (8:15am to 530pm) / Alt Sat (815am to 1230pm)
- Salary: $4500 - $5800
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for execution and overall progress of project contracts
- Monitor installation progress and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery
- Report project progress to the Project Manager and track milestones
- Supervise works to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications
- Prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation/testing & commissioning (T&C) check sheets, progress reports, and related documentation
- Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on shop drawing preparation and submission
- Prepare and coordinate technical submissions with suppliers and subcontractors
- Support the Project Manager in procurement and negotiation of materials, equipment, and manpower within approved budget
- Conduct technical discussions with stakeholders to resolve site and engineering issues
- Liaise with authorities, subcontractors, and clients on submissions, inspections, testing, and commissioning requirements
Job Requirements
- Experience in Data Center projects or Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) preferred
- Mechanical knowledge in VAV, VRV systems, cooling towers, chillers, chilled water piping, and A&A works
- Electrical knowledge in retrofit works, renovation projects, lighting control systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
