M&E Manager (Main Con A1, Industrial Project)

Role Overview

Lead and coordinate Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works to ensure projects are completed on time, withinbudget, and in accordance with contractual, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E contractors, BIM teams, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of coordinated services drawings (CSD).
• Review BIM models, technical specifications, and construction drawings to resolve design and installation issues.
• Manage daily M&E site operations, subcontractor planning, and work progress.
• Chair coordination and progress meetings with contractors and client representatives.
• Assess subcontractor progress claims and variation orders, monitor cost impacts, and implement budget controls.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Ensure workmanship meets specifications and maintain inspection records.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, the Project Quality Plan, and environmental, health, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related building discipline. Quantity Surveying or Architecture backgrounds may also be considered.
• 8-10 years of experience in building and construction projects.
• Ability to operate, review, and comment on BIM models using BIM 360, Revit, or similar software.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
