We are looking for an M&E Manager/Coordination Manager as the key appointment holder for our LTA underground MRT project.
- Responsible for accomplishing the project objectives within the constraints such as project scope, time, cost and quality
- Responsible for the overall planning, controlling and monitoring and also managing and directing the assigned project resources to best meet the project objectives.
- Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients specifications
- Lead a team of engineers / supervisors for coordination works with main/sub-contractors and/or authorities and/or consultant
- Lead a team of modellers in the preparation of M&E shop drawings for submission.
- Liaise and support the design team on feasibility of design and interfaces between structure / M&E / architectural components within project constraints
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Monitor and follow up on construction progress and progress claims
- Manage and monitor consultant and contractor performance
- Coordinating the handing-over of completed works to the client and completion of the necessary rectification works
- Ensure team members understand their roles and requirements in meeting the project objectives.
- Establish and communicate project management procedures to the team for issue resolution, scope control and progress reporting in line with Master Construction Programme.
- Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace
- Ensure safety and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
- Undertake other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
Requirements
- Professional Engineering Board recognized Degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 8 years experience in a Managerial role (M&E Manager or Coordination Manager) in the construction industry specifically for an underground MRT project
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, components and installation practices
- Familiarity with relevant electrical engineering codes, regulations and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with project teams
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
