The M&E Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical systems supporting the building / plant facility. The role ensures reliable, safe, and uninterrupted infrastructure performance to support critical production and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting building / plant utilities, electrical systems, compressed air, plumbing, fire protection, and backup power systems.
- Support facility operation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders for maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and project works.
- Review maintenance schedules, service reports, work permits, and shutdown plans.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in compliance with statutory, EHS, and site procedures.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, including after-hours support when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, inspection records, and maintenance reports.
