About us:
Our Client are looking for an M&E Engineer to support electrical design, coordination, and site execution for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical design including lighting (lux calculations), cable sizing, routing, and scheduling
- Design and implement earthing and lightning protection systems
- Develop fire alarm and detection system designs
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Prepare method statements, technical drawings, and documentation
- Plan and allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) for electrical works
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams on inspections and technical matters
- Ensure works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
- Prepare daily site reports, inspection requests, and progress reports
- Support testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects
- Familiar with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp
- Good understanding of electrical systems, standards, and site coordination
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
