M&E Coordinator

The M&E Coordinator (Construction) is responsible for the coordination and execution of all M&E works at site in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule
• Liaise with design consultants on the design intent.
• Coordinate with in-house architectural & structural team to minimize discrepancies.
• Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission.
• Attend, present and take minutes in M&E coordination meeting.
• Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance.
• Assess, prepare and submit progress claims for project consultants & subcontractors.
• Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in coordinating Mechanical & Electrical services in an A1 main contractor setting.
• Candidate with PPVC construction experience would have added advantage.
• Candidate with full cycle in condo residential, mixed development or data center projects experience would have added advantage.
• Good stakeholder engagement, project management skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal, presentation skills.
• Exhibit good character of strength, willing to learn and resourceful
• Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast and dynamic work environment.
