Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Coordination
- Oversee and coordinate all M&E works on-site to ensure seamless operations and timely project completion.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor SWC (System Wide Contractors) installations to align with design specifications.
2. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all M&E works comply with approved drawings, specifications, local codes, and relevant standards (including LTA requirements).
- Promote and enforce adherence to safety regulations and codes of practice.
- Participate in SWC monthly safety committee meetings and conduct routine site safety inspections.
3. Site Management & Inspections
- Conduct joint site inspections with LTA, QPS, SWCs, and subcontractors to verify quality and compliance.
- Facilitate inspections (LTA/QPS/SWC) to uphold project standards.
- Coordinate temporary power supply for SWCs and follow up on monthly meter readings.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate material and equipment deliveries for SWCs to ensure timely site availability.
- Arrange and lead coordination meetings with departments, subcontractors, and SWCs to resolve issues efficiently.
- Liaise with authorities for work commissioning, approvals, and inspections.
5. Technical Support & Design Review
- Collaborate with Engineers, Consultants, and subcontractors to integrate E&M systems with civil, structural, and architectural elements.
- Review and ensure E&M designs align with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and design clarifications to the construction team.
- Oversee systems implementation: irrigation, earth mat, plumbing, sanitary systems, fire hydrants, equipotential bonding, E&M lock installations, and RWDP (Rainwater Drainage Pipe).
6. Reporting
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports on E&M activities to the project management team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in local construction firm/LTA-MRT projects.
- Strong knowledge of local standards & regulatory requirements.
- Independent, proactive, and positive work attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
