Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to coordinate mechanical and electrical works between the project team, consultants, contractors, and other trades. The successful candidate will support the smooth execution of M&E works on site by coordinating drawings, resolving interface issues, and monitoring installation progress in accordance with approved requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate M&E works with architectural, structural, and other building services to ensure proper integration and smooth construction progress.
- Review and coordinate M&E shop drawings, installation drawings, and other technical documents.
- Identify and resolve M&E interface and coordination issues with consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Coordinate M&E installation activities and monitor site progress to ensure works follow approved drawings and project requirements.
- Liaise with M&E contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other project stakeholders on technical and coordination matters.
- Follow up on outstanding M&E issues, site instructions, inspections, and rectification works.
- Assist in coordinating M&E testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover activities.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, submissions, inspections, and coordination matters.
Requirements
- Recognized Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, M&E Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination or building construction projects in Singapore.
- Proficient in AutoCAD knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is an advantage.
- Good understanding of M&E drawings, building services coordination, and construction processes.
- Familiarity with Singapore building codes, standards, and relevant authority requirements.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.
