M&E Coordinator Cum Drafter

Job Description

Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies.

Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.

Ensure good MEP drawing management and the control of MEP documentation/filing on site

Coordinate with client's representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress.

Control site progress & installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule for on-time completion.

Assist in supervising and coordinating MEP services work closely with other departments.

Assist for submission of evaluation of progress claim, variation work.

Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings.

Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.

Responsible for M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality.

Provide and maintain all site inspection records & T&C records up to date.

Responsible for conducting QA/QC inspection, managing RE, RTO and responsible for clearing QA/QC inspections to meet with construction schedule.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, recognized by PE Board Singapore.

Minimum 5 years work experience related projects in Singapore building and construction industry.

Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experience in HDB projects or high-rise developments.

Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences.

Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with site teams to execute work

Experience in design and build is an advantage

Use of AutoCad would be an advantage.
