Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and various M&E subcontractors to resolve design conflicts and ensure smooth workflow.
- Review M&E drawings, specifications, and materials to ensure compliance with design requirements and identify any discrepancies or issues.
- Oversee the installation of M&E systems on site, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to specifications and schedules.
- Ensure all M&E work comply with local codes, regulations, safety standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
- Prepare coordination and shop drawings, verify subcontractor submissions, and assist with the documentation for approvals and inspections.
- Monitor site progress and quality of M&E works, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with the overall construction program.
- Assist with the testing and commissioning of M&E systems and participate in the final handover of the building.
- Attend and contribute to project, site, and coordination meetings to discuss M&E-related issues and solutions
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Ability to interpret M&E drawings
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
