Job Role:
A BIM (Building Information Modelling) Coordinator manages and integrates digital information throughout the design and construction phases of a construction project.
It involves coordinating various stakeholders of the construction project, including architects, engineers, QS, subcontractors, and the project management team, to ensure that they all have access to accurate and up-to-date information. The BIM coordinator role is a critical component of BIM management, which is the overall process of planning, implementing, and managing BIM processes and standards within an organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all architectural, structural modelling, technical drawings/detailing, and documentation
- Use of BIM to do shop drawings documentation
- Manage the process of coordination, exchange of data and collaboration of BIM with project stakeholders
- Ensure all architectural/Structure drawings are compliant with project specifications & requirements
- Clarify and raise RFI for any discrepancies. Coordinate/communicate with internal and external team members & consultants
- Ensure that clashes highlighted are resolved or concluded, if not, continuous monitoring for resolutions to be provided by the project team
- Carry out modelling and shop drawings as instructed and finish in a timely manner
- Making presentations with BIM-related software as required by the project team
- Perform and maintain proper documentation of clash detection report
Job Requirements:
- Recognised Degree/ Diploma in Architectural/ Mechanical/ Engineering/ Construction or equivalent
- Min. 3 - 5 years of experience in drawing coordination and BIM management in the Singapore Construction Industry
- Well-versed in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and Navisworks software in Archi/Structure and able to efficiently use BIM to perform drawing works
