The M&E Coordinator (Construction) is responsible for the coordination and execution of all M&E works at site in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule
- Liaise with design consultants on the design intent.
- Coordinate with in-house architectural & structural team to minimize discrepancies.
- Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission.
- Attend, present and take minutes in M&E coordination meeting.
- Prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance.
- Assess, prepare and submit progress claims for project consultants & subcontractors.
- Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services.
- Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
- Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in coordinating Mechanical & Electrical services in an A1 main contractor setting.
- Candidate with PPVC construction experience would have added advantage.
- Candidate with full cycle in condo residential, mixed development or data center projects experience would have added advantage.
- Good stakeholder engagement, project management skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal, presentation skills.
- Exhibit good character of strength, willing to learn and resourceful
- Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast and dynamic work environment.
