Job Summary
Lead and supervise mechanical and electrical works for building construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and resolve technical clarifications to ensure accurate execution
- Prepare method statements and identify discrepancies in drawings to support project planning
- Plan project activities including design, material requisition, cost control, and documentation management
- Supervise mechanical and electrical works on-site, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on technical issues
- Monitor and drive timely and smooth progress of project works to meet deadlines
- Implement quality control measures to achieve required work standards
- Enforce compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout project execution
- Ensure all project activities adhere to the Company's ISO management system requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- NTC, Diploma, or Degree in relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising mechanical and electrical works in HDB new build or warehouse construction projects
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for project documentation and communication
- Experience using AutoCAD for design and drawing review
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and foster teamwork
