About the Role
This role will be based on a large-scale mixed-use development and is responsible for coordinating M&E works, ensuring smooth project delivery, regulatory compliance, and timely resolution of defects. You will work closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout construction, handover, and the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works and progress across multiple projects during construction, completion, and Defects Liability Period (DLP).
- Review, verify, and follow up on submissions of shop drawings, operation and maintenance manuals (O&M), material approvals, method statements, and related documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate M&E system training sessions for clients and stakeholders in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Monitor and verify maintenance schedules for M&E systems during the DLP period.
- Ensure compliance with TOP requirements, inspection checklists, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage inspections related to M&E services with consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and clients.
- Track M&E work progress and provide timely updates to project stakeholders.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve M&E-related defects, technical issues, and site challenges.
- Work closely with project teams and subcontractors to implement timely rectification works.
- Establish effective communication and coordination between internal project teams and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, managing agents, and end-users.
- Organise, lead, and participate in coordination meetings, progress meetings, defect management meetings, and technical discussions.
- Conduct periodic site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to M&E progress, inspections, defects, and rectification works.
- Support management and undertake any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the coordination and supervision of M&E works within Singapore's building construction industry.
- Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use, institutional, or large-scale building projects will be highly advantageous.
- Good understanding of M&E systems, construction methodologies, engineering practices, and building services coordination.
- Strong knowledge of local codes of practice, statutory requirements, BCA regulations, quality standards, and inspection processes.
- Familiarity with TOP, CSC, testing & commissioning, handover, and Defects Liability Period (DLP) processes.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit will be an added advantage.
