Key Responsibilities:
- Perform professional cleaning, restoration, and maintenance of luxury leather goods, including handbags, wallets, belts, and small leather accessories
- Handle high-end brands (e.g. Herms, Chanel, Louis Vuitton) with strict care standards and attention to detail
- Diagnose leather conditions such as discoloration, staining, cracking, mold, water damage, and structural wear
- Execute advanced restoration techniques including color touch-up, edge repair, glazing, polishing, and conditioning
- Provide customized care solutions based on leather type (calfskin, lambskin, exotic leather, etc.)
- Maintain proper documentation of service records, before/after conditions, and treatment processes
- Ensure all tools, chemicals, and equipment are used safely and maintained to professional standards
- Support in-store operations by advising sales staff and customers on leather care and maintenance
- Handle customer items with full accountability and ensure zero-loss / zero-damage standards
- Assist in quality control and inspection of incoming and outgoing luxury items
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in luxury leather care, restoration, or related craftsmanship field
- Proven experience handling high-value luxury brands such as Herms, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc.
- Strong knowledge of different leather types, including delicate and exotic materials (e.g. crocodile, ostrich, lizard)
- Skilled in advanced restoration techniques such as color matching, repainting, edge sealing, and structural repair
- High attention to detail with strong craftsmanship standards
- Ability to assess and diagnose leather conditions independently and recommend appropriate treatment methods
- Familiarity with professional leather care products, tools, and chemicals
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity when handling high-value items
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with precision and consistency
- Basic English communication skills to coordinate with team and understand job instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in luxury resale, authentication, or boutique environment
- Prior experience in handling consignment or customer-owned high-value items
- Knowledge of handbag structure and construction (e.g. stitching, glazing, hardware)
- Ability to train junior staff or support SOP development
