[LTA-TRO] EXECUTIVE/ ENGINEER, TRAFFIC & STREET LIGHTING

What the role is

We are seeking a dynamic professional to manage and analyse data from our smart street lighting system which monitors the health of our various street lighting
and commuter facilities lighting infrastructure. This role involves developing automated solutions by providing data-driven insights to improve the division's system performance and service delivery.

What you will be working on

• Develop and implement automated response systems for data driven analysis to better street and commuter facilities lighting

• Create and maintain a comprehensive smart street lighting performance classification system

• Design and manage interactive dashboards to visualise fault trends, response times, and resolution rates

• Analyse fault patterns to identify recurring issues and areas for service improvement

• Prepare regular reports with actionable insights for senior management

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely resolution

What we are looking for

• Knowledge in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline

• Preferably 1 year of engineering experience, ideally with customer service exposure

• Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data visualisation tools (eg: Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python (preferred)

• Hands-on experience with automation and workflow management systems

• Organised, detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills

• Proactive problem solver and team player

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with public sector operations is a plus

• Basic understanding of natural language processing (NLP) concepts

• Ability to work under pressure and deal with sensitive matters
