[What the role is]
[LTA-TRO] DEPUTY MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER / PRINCIPAL EXECUTIVE, VEHICLE ENFORCEMENT, PARKING & REGULATORY ENFORCEMENT (ANALYTICS-FOCUSED)[What you will be working on]
You are in charge of detecting and enforcing against illegal parking using tools ranging from cameras, parking wardens and crowd sourced information. You will work with the data analytics team to strengthen sensemaking and develop metrics to better support your work. You will also look at upstream planning and policy measures to reduce the occurrence of illegal parking.
You will guide and evaluate enforcement initiatives, pilots, or trials in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging analytics to measure impact and guide strategic decisions. Ensure all enforcement activities comply with relevant Acts, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Review and refine enforcement policies, workflows, and guidelines with a focus on data-informed effectiveness and public compliance. Prepare comprehensive analytical reports, dashboards, and statistical summaries to support management decision-making and strategic planning. Provide actionable insights to facilitate inter-departmental coordination on regulatory and operational matters.
Ensure proper documentation, records management, and timely follow-up of enforcement cases. Support audits, inspections, and management reviews by providing evidence-based analyses. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Candidates must be able to apply strategic thinking to operational challenges, leveraging data as a tool for insight rather than the primary focus. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills are essential.
[What we are looking for]
Knowledge in any discipline, with preference for strategic, operational, or analytical fields
At least 58 years of professional experience, preferably in enforcement, service delivery, operations, or strategic roles
Candidates without prior enforcement experience but with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude will also be considered
Able to interpret data and trends to inform operational and strategic decisions experience with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar is advantageous
Positive, proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Strong curiosity, enjoys solving complex problems, and translating insights into actionable strategies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to present recommendations to management and stakeholders
Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Class 3 driving licence is not required, but will be an advantage
