[LTA-RDG] SENIOR CLOUD ENGINEER

[What the role is]

[What you will be working on]

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with a proven track record of managing production environments. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure-as-code. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a deep understanding of how to bridge the gap between software development and systems operations to support our railway digitalisation goals.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), with a preference for AWS Solutions Architect associates or professionals.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks.
• Experience in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, VPC security groups, and encryption at rest/transit.

[What we are looking for]

• Background knowledge in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
• Professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, CKA) will be an advantage.
• This is a full-time position candidates must be prepared to participate in an on-call rotation if necessary for critical system support.
