[LTA-PT] DEPUTY/ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS INFORMATION SYSTEMS[What you will be working on]
The Bus Information Systems division delivers cutting edge technical solutions that benefits Passengers, Operators, and internal LTA stakeholders through the provision of travel information. Our projects include the Common Fleet Management System (CFMS), Passenger Information Display System on Buses and at bus stops, as well as Assistive Technologies to benefit Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
You will be part of a dynamic and friendly team responsible for managing these systems and assets. Your tasks will include overseeing the comprehensive maintenance and operations of systems, auditing of systems, and managing contracts.
You will also have the opportunity to develop and improve such systems. Your work will primarily involve office work, but may also include on-site work at bus stop, bus depots, and on-board buses. You will get the opportunity to work at all parts of a project life-cycle.
[What we are looking for]
Knowledge in any discipline, but preferably related to engineering fields.
Process-oriented, organised, and attentive to details, with excellent communication and people skills.
Proven leadership skills, able to motivate and be a strong team player.
Motivation to work with new data analysis and AI tools is a must.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and general computer usage is a must.
Experience of writing python programming is advantageous.
Formal project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, etc) or service management (e.g. ITIL) certification or experience will be advantageous.
Experience of working in transport industry or possessing good knowledge of local bus domain will be advantageous, but candidates from outside the domain are also encouraged to apply.
Comfortable working in both the office and on-site, including bus interchanges, depots and other transport nodes.
