[LTA-P&P] TRANSPORT PLANNER (BUS NETWORK PLANNING)

What the role is

You will be involved in the planning and design of the public bus network. The role requires strong communication and stakeholder engagement to foster understanding and support from the public, local communities and other partners.

What you will be working on

You will be required to

• Analyse data / survey results collected and interpret them to assess and justify the benefits / impact of the proposals.

• Prepare engagement / publicity activities for key projects that require stakeholders support and craft and execute communication strategies that effectively communicate the values of the proposals to diverse audiences.

• Gather, analyse and synthesise public feedback, and recommend mitigation or communication approaches that balance the needs of different commuter groups.

What we are looking for

• Knowledge in any disciplines, preferably in communications, urban planning, transport / geography , public policy or civil engineering

• Knowledge / experience in data analytics, media / communication skills, land use planning, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), transport planning and transport modelling simulation techniques will be an advantage

• Excellent communication and writing skills
