[LTA-P&P] SENIOR/EXECUTIVE/ PRINCIPAL TRANSPORT PLANNER

What the role is

You will be part of a dynamic team of transport planners to drive the policy development of the Land Transport Masterplan (LTMP). Refresh and plan the future transportation infrastructure and programmes for Singapore. You will be given the unique opportunity to shape the future transportation network of Singapore.

What you will be working on

• Design comprehensive public engagement strategies and activities to gather insights and feedback for policy formulation, design and supervise data collection activities, analyse and interpret survey results.

• Integrate stakeholder insights and forecast travel demand to develop transport improvement proposals and assess community benefits and determine economic performance, culminating into an overall LTMP document.

• Work closely with other Government agencies to develop integrated transport-land use plans and provide transportation planning advice on future land use development initiatives.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification in any qualifications, preferably in Town/Urban Planning, Geography, Economics or a related discipline

• At least 3 years of experience in road, rail and/or bus planning and/or policy development

• Experience in land use planning, transport planning and transport modeling simulation techniques

• Excellent communication and writing skills Candidates with relevant experience, good understanding of transport/town planning principles and/or policy development and strong analytical capabilities will be considered for senior roles
