[What the role is]
MANAGER / DEPUTY MANAGER, LAND[What you will be working on]
Lead and oversee the end-to-end planning, coordination, and management of land acquisition and securing of land for transport infrastructure projects.
Provide advice and recommendations on land-related matters, including budgeting, cost management, and compliance with regulatory policies and development guidelines, escalating issues and proposing solutions as needed.
Work with government agencies, statutory boards, and key stakeholders to resolve land-related matters, negotiate outcomes, and advance project objectives.
Utilize Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to manage, analyse, and visualize spatial data related to land and infrastructure assets.
Maintain and update land and geospatial databases, maps, and related documentations.
Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical direction and fostering professional development within the team.
[What we are looking for]
Knowledgein Real Estate, Land Management, Urban Planning, Geography, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
At least 6 years of relevant experience in land management, land acquisition, or infrastructure planning, with a demonstrated track record of managing projects and leading cross-functional workstreams. Prior experience in infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
Competency in interpreting spatial data and translating findings into proposals.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to work with multiple agencies and project teams.
A self-starter who can operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining alignment with organisational goals and senior leadership's direction.
