What the role is

[LTA-HR] DEPUTY MANAGER / MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCE (BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP)


What you will be working on

You will be part of the team of HR business partners supporting designated business groups in the development and implementation of people strategies and human resource programmes that are critical towards achieving the organisation's vision, mission and strategic thrusts.

This position requires you to understand business needs and partner with the different group management staff to lead the overall HR strategy and provide strategic advisory services and solutions to support the business. Working together with the senior line management staff, you will implement HR initiatives and best practices that align with the business strategy engaging them in the areas of manpower staffing, performance management, compensation, rewards and talent management and development.

In addition, you may be assigned to other Centre of Excellence portfolio such as review of code of conduct matters including handling disciplinary cases as well as partnership with Union on management of industrial-relations matters.


What we are looking for

  • Knowledge in any discipline, preferably with at least 5 years of HR business partnering experience
  • Demonstrated skills in writing, communication and interpersonal relationships
  • Demonstrated skills in analysis and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and drive to excel
  • Independent, able to work in a team and highly self-motivated
