[What the role is]

[LTA - FIN] ASSISTANT MANAGER, COLLECTIONS, RECEIVABLES & REFUNDS

[What you will be working on]

You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of collections and refunds, while supporting digital payment operations and customer-centric collection services. You will work closely with finance colleagues and stakeholders to strengthen collections processes and drive continuous improvements.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Support daily collections, receivables and refund operations across multiple payment channels, including digital payment modes, as well as reconciliations and account analysis

  • Monitor and track digital payment transactions to ensure timely processing and proper accounting of collections

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journals, schedules and supporting documentation, and liaise with auditors on information requests

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, banks, payment service providers and vendors to support smooth operations and provide financial insights

  • Prepare, update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation

  • Review business processes and contribute to continuous improvements in efficiency and controls

  • Support system implementations and enhancements, including user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation and post-implementation checks

[What we are looking for]

  • Knowledge in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification

  • Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in hands-on, end-to-end finance operations, particularly in collections and refunds processing within digital payment environments

  • Candidates with experience in transaction-based, operational finance roles will be well aligned with the requirements of this role

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Query, Word, PowerPoint) knowledge of analytics or automation tools (e.g. Python, UiPath) is an advantage

  • Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Resourceful, self-driven and able to work independently

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong team player
