My client is one of the biggest players in the Fintech industry. Due to a strong focus in Asia, they are looking for a Managing Director for their Singapore business.
The Role
- Own the Singapore entity's P&L, developing sustainable revenue streams while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance integrity
- Define, track, and deliver on key performance metrics including transaction volume, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and unit economics
- Lead execution of Group's strategy in Singapore, aligning with licensing requirements and local market dynamics
- Drive localization and rollout of core products
- Act as the primary liaison with regulators, ensuring full compliance, AML/CFT standards, and MAS guidelines
- Oversee compliance functions, ensuring robust transaction monitoring, accurate regulatory reporting, and audit readiness
- Collaborate with HQ product and engineering teams to prioritize local requirements and ensure compliant, efficient product deployment
- Oversee operational excellence across liquidity management, banking relationships, and system resilience
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with banks, and digital asset providers to expand cross-border regional capabilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing local team while ensuring strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with Group objectives
Your Profile
- Proven leadership experience in fintech or digital assets, with strong understanding of cross-border transactions and digital financial services
- Deep knowledge of Singapore regulatory frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to own P&L, drive revenue growth, and manage cost efficiency in a regulated environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging regulators, banking partners, and internal global teams
- Track record of building high-performing teams and executing product and operational strategies
