About the client:
Our client is a US-listed tech multinational with strong presence in supporting the local government with building various applications and solutions. With a strong technical team, they have been transforming how government agencies deliver their services. They are looking for an experienced low-code engineer to join their talented team. You will be working alongside a talented team to design, build, and deploy innovative business applications using OutSystems and related platforms. This role is ideal for a problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is passionate about streamlining processes through modern application development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy applications using low-code/no-code platforms, particularly OutSystems.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications in close collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders.
- Build automated workflows, forms, and integrations to enhance business processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Perform thorough testing to ensure applications meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user guides, technical specifications, and support materials.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, business units, external vendors) to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of application development experience, with a strong focus on low-code/no-code platforms.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration).
- Proven ability to develop and deploy applications with minimal coding.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with APIs and enterprise system integrations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Good-to-haves:
- Exposure to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications in low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., OutSystems).
- Experience in mobile application development.
- Hands-on expertise in configuring OutSystems features such as rules engine, workflows, process logic, data validation, screen flows, and page layouts.
